What should I bring?
The Studios are fully equipped - so you don’t need to bring anything. If you prefer to use your own mat, please feel free to bring it with you.
What happens in a yoga class?
A combination of physical posture work, breathing exercises, relaxation and meditation. Yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach. Please don’t eat for approximately two hours before coming to class to get the most out of your practice.
What information do I need to share with my yoga teacher?
If you are feeling unwell or have an injury, please share this information at the beginning of class so that the necessary adjustments can be made. All yoga postures can be modified or alternatives given to accommodate any health conditions.
Can yoga get me fit?
Yoga is a holistic fitness program. The aim is to make you mentally and emotionally fit as well as physically fit.
Can yoga help me lose weight?
Sun Salutations can help you lose weight. With regular practice of yoga you tend to become more sensitive to the kind of food your body asks for and when.
Can yoga reduce my stress levels?
Even a few minutes of yoga can be a great way to get rid of the daily stress that accumulates in your mind and body.
Can yoga improve my flexibility?
Yes, yoga is very good for increasing both flexibility and strength.
