3-night Yoga Retreat near Bridport

About

Symondsbury Manor has mellow stone walls and mullioned windows. Inside you’ll find a fresh, creative interior full of colour and playful charm. The house has many eclectic bedrooms of varying sizes and styles all with plump beds and white linens.  Light streams into the huge open plan living space where everyone can gather comfortably to eat and rest. Throughout the house, there are interesting pictures, books, vintage furniture and hand printed wallpapers. The ornate ballroom is perfect for yoga sessions, easily accommodating 12 mats. Outside, there’s a couple of acres of gardens and an orchard to explore.

Symondsbury Manor is located in the picture postcard village of Symondsbury where you can visit: Colmers Hill: a prominent local landmark easily accessible from the estate with breathtaking, panoramic views of the Jurassic Coast. The Holloways: mysterious, ancient sunken lanes carved into the earth by centuries of footfall and water, featuring wild beauty and unique rock carvings. Manor Yard: the vibrant heart of the estate which houses a lovely cafe, deli, independent boutiques, and an art gallery.

Travel just a mile from Symondsbury Manor and you meet the sea. Along this stretch of the Jurassic coast, there are spectacular walks along cliff tops and beaches, plus fossil hunting too. A mile in the other direction takes you to bustling Bridport, famed for its street market of antiques, artisanal craft and local produce. The location of this magical house could not be more perfect!
